WELCOME TO LOVE CAPE TOWN CITYFEST
Love Cape Town CityFest is a partnership between African Enterprise (AE), Luis Palau Association (LPA) and the Churches & Ministries of Cape Town. The vision of the Love Cape Town CityFest is to come alongside the churches and ministries to proclaim the gospel message and make new disciples for Christ. The aim is to reach 300 000 people of all ages from 2-16 November. There will be different kinds of outreaches:
There will be three festivals with 20 000+ people each. The festivals will be something for the whole family with various activities throughout the day. You are welcome to bring your own picnic basket or buy food at the venue. Each festival will start 09:15 with Kids Games. After lunch, there will be action sport shows including BMX, skate boarding and roller blading. Each location will have one unique activity

Khayelitsha – Christian Bikers rally
CBD Grand Parade – FMX jumping motorbikes. The music program will start after 14:30 (15:00 in CBD) with artists like Dr Tumi, Heinz Winckler, Loyiso Bala, Shaun P, Rouchelle Liedeman, Euclid Jacobs, Kinetic IV and Transform DJ’s. Testimonies and the main message will follow and a performance by well-known musicians will close the day.

Believers will gather at locations throughout the city and go out in small groups of 2-5 to reach out to individuals in the area from 09:00 -12:30. It will take place on 4-8 November and again 12-15 November.

Prayer networks from across the city will be praying for the CityFest. Churches are encouraged to mobilise members to form a prayer and fast chain during the 40 days from 24 September to 2 November. “Sweep the city” clean-up events will take place and there will be drug awareness campaigns in some of the schools. More information will follow.
